The textiles include embroidery from various states of Mexico such as Chiapas, Oaxaca, San Luis Potosi, Michoacan, and Puebla. The fringe is made by Gaby an artisan in Zinacantan. This piece was made during a 6 month period. A one-of-a-kind piece like this is made once a year with different embroidery techniques.

Eager to delve deeper into the rich heritage of her homeland, she furthered her education at the esteemed INNARDI Institute of Higher Studies.
