Hand-carved with beaded detail and exquisite aged gilt painting technique, this piece was created in Biarritz, France and has a lovely bevelled edge mirror installed. Beautiful when placed on the wall or leaned on the floor as this is a dressing mirror. It's narrow size is ideal for smaller spaces or as a piece that can easily fit next to your vanity. The finish is intentionally distressed and the gilt has a satin matte finish that mimics aged gilt. The clay-red gesso beneath the gilt is exposed in some areas, a nod to the traditional method in which this piece has been created. These are newly crafted pieces handmade in France making them excellent options when pairings of two or more identical pieces are required.
